JOSEPH EDWARD AMARA

Driver-ICT Support

Joseph Edward Amara was born in Boajibu, Kenema District, Simbaru chiefdom, Eastern Province. He did his primary and junior secondary education in Boajibu. He later moved to Kenema where he completed his Senior Secondary School and took the West African Senior School Examination (WASSCE).

In1996, Joseph enrolled into the Institute of Business Studies and Administration (IBSA) and obtained a Diploma in Computer Software Programs. He also successfully completed a certificate in Forest Inventory Procedures.

In 2018, he received admission to an India based ICT College in Freetown called Blue Crest, an affiliate of the National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) in India. Joseph obtained  a Diploma in Information Technology with Honors.

In 2022, Joseph entered the College of Digital Excellence where he studied HTML-5 PROGRAMING for Designing and Web Development. He received a certificate as a  web designer and developer.





EMMANUEL BASSIE

Office Clerk

Emmanuel Bassie was born in Bomotoke, Timdale Chiefdom, Moyamba District, Southern Province of Sierra Leone. After taking the National Primary School Exam, he attended the Services Children Primary School. Afterwhich, he enrolled at Services Junior Secondary School. He later moved to the Government Technical Secondary School, and the Sierra Leone Muslim Congress Secondary School, where he took the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE). He obtained his first Diploma in Accounting and Finance and Higher National Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the Milton Margai Technical University in Sierra Leone.

He started working at the Monuments and Relics Commission as an internal intern for six months. After his internship, he volunteered at the Commission for six to seven years before becoming a full staff of the Commission. I am married to a lovely wife and come from a very large family.


MOHAMED SAHID

Office Clerk

Mohamed Sahid started his career in business in 2004 and became a barber in 2006 during his primary and secondary school in Kenema. He then move to the city after his external exams (WASSCE) to advance his Education, Mohamed Sahid worked as a volunteer at the Sierra Leone National Museum as an Acting Tour Guide for one year six months since 2013 to 2014 and was employed as office Assistant at the Monuments and Relics Commission after acquiring Diploma in Aviation and Tourism Studies after the official setting up of the Commission’s secretariat in 2014, he happen to be the first staff that was employed in the commission. He was then promoted to the level of office clerk on the 21 October 2019. As a dedicated and experienced staff, he was inspired to pursue a career in Logistics and Supply Chain Management in the University of Saint Monica based in the USA in 2018 to 2022. During his stay in the commission, he has been providing administrative support for various local NGOs in Freetown, and was offered a contract Job at Guidance and Counselling Foundation to draft partnership letters, and to take part in projects implementations and logistics. He was also employed as Administrative Officer at Save the Youth and Children organization, and Educate Africa Institute head office in Ghana.

My name is Baba Kamara born 15 October 1988 Sierra Leone Western area, I attended the st Edward's primary school were I sat my N,P,S,E exam , and enter the st Edward's secondary school 2002 to 2008  and set my west Africa senior school certificate examination, were I have admission at University of Sierra Leone( USL) reading banking and finance Undergraduate , am staying at 46 black hall road Freetown Sierra Leone, am single, 

I started working with the monument and relics commission on 2 February 2015 as office assistant position
